Dr Alberto Gomes is an anthropologist with a Goan Indian cultural heritage. He grew up in Malaysia and has lived in Australia for more than 30 years. He has maintained a long-term and close association with the Orang Asli (Malaysia's Aborigines). From them and other Indigenous peoples, he learnt to appreciate nature, peacefulness, and empathic relations.He initiated the DEEP Network,(globaldeepnetwork.org),a global community focused on bridging divides, promoting intercultural understanding, and transforming conflicts.

Sanne de Swart migrated to Australia in 2010. She has a background in Social and Cultural Education and Peace, Conflict and Development Studies and Sustainability and Leadership. She is passionate about social and environmental justice and a deep rooted believe in grassroot community building, Sanne is a connector, an ideas person and a do-er!

Uzma Rubab, landed with her small family in Australia in 2015. She is a staunch believer in the positives of equity and inclusion in society. She has a background in Community Development, Education and Art for Social Change. Uzma, is an idealist, innovative and an initiator, who drives her energies from the hopes on Humanity!

Liz migrated to Australia in 2012. She has a background in Peace Studies and Anthropology. Liz has worked in the University Sector for the last 10 years and is motivated by the energy of the amazing people around her!
